HORROR MOVIES: CREEPING CREATURES, MEMORY KEEPERS

Are you a fan of "Horror Movies", well today's story is centered on movies, particularly (horror), and how one titled "THE THIRD EYE" unfolded with full suspense.

Movies such as Horror, Adventure, Romance, Comedy and Action all tell captivating stories which appeal to the emotions of people.

THE THIRD EYE is an Indonesian movie, which has two chapters, Part 1 released on November 30, 2017 and Part 2 released on January 17, 2019.

The story line was about two sisters, who relocated back to thier childhood home after the death of their parents, which the main characters Alia (elder sister) consulted a psychic, who opens her third eye to confirm the existence of vengeful ghosts complained by Abel (younger sister). 

There are several horror movies, but this particular one caught the attention of the writer of this story, from the beginning till the end. 

It is creepy, atmospheric and has some disturbing visuals, which creates a strong connection between viewers and the movie. 

There are various techniques such as the soundtrack, costume, the use of lighting, make-up and others, which brought out its uniqueness. 

Some of the instruments used included fast breathing, footsteps, ghost sound effects, echoes, stabbing, slashing and others, which displayed a real-life experience which viewers imagine and create imagery in thier minds.

The costume gave a vivid narration on how the characters dressed to suit their specific roles respectively. 

For example, some of the vengeful ghosts were dressed in white gowns with missing body parts, deep cuts and blood stains, the seer wore traditional attires and had amulets, candles for rituals, timer et cetera. 

The make-up of the characters was another element which kept the movie vibrant, as it displayed scary and atmospheric balance at the same time.

Another wonderful aspect was the soundtrack which contained both higher-frequency sound such as squeaky or shrill and low-frequency such as rumble and drone, which created continous inaudible noise and sometimes can make viewers feel unease. 

The whispers, screams, shouts, incantations, knocking of doors, hisses, roars among others will surely keep viewers active and not feel bored.

The idea of this movie emphasized how some people have their third eyes opened, which helps them to be able to communicate in the spiritual realm and prevent potential damages. 

It also displayed the culture and how fortune tellers their supernatural powers to assist people to be aware of what happens around them, lift curses and protect themselves from harm.

Horror movies usually have unpredictable ways of unfolding events, which keeps viewers active, interested and above all in great suspense.

Some of the benefits of such movies are below.

They improve individuals health, especially as a person may be in great suspense till the movie ends.

They are incredible ways of boosting the confidence of people as, the more one watches, the more confident they become in facing whatever challenges that may come their way.

However, one can stay awake all through the night, as it may cause delay in sleep.

Also, it causes irrational fears as they usually scares the life out of people with horrifying visuals and sounds, which takes time to completely clear out of the mind.

All movies have unique ways of telling stories,  and impacts viewers either positively or negatively.

Movies are essential ways of effective communication, which informs, educates, entertains and demonstrates real-life events, and evokes the emotions of people with their  extraordinary storytelling.
